Hi ~ this blog is just for Grandma. I don't blog as often as I'd like, but I do from time to time. This morning I am busy with going to a meeting. A meeting some people don't exactly want the press to attend. However, I will go anyway because public tax dollars are involved and they have the right to know what's happening. So it goes.. not much else to say.  Have a fun day. I will go and report the news of Wahpeton, ND.

   Ok, so Mike is right. Sometimes when alone in the Daily News bldg at night, you hear creepy noises. FOR EXAMPLE: It just sounded like someone clocked in on the time clock, but I didn't hear any footsteps, doors closing or shuffling. It was creepy.
Anywhoodle... Patty... you have had a busy last few weeks, huh? I have too with local elections and so on. Good to hear you get some down time as well, even though you crack-a-lack at home during that down time.  The seminar went well. It was interesting to hear what other papers in the state had to say. I learned a few things like don't break up quotes with parentheses.
However, I will fill you in later on that. I have a couple articles to write now. It is a quarter to 9 p.m. and I would like to go sleep tonight. Nighty night auntie.

hello all who actually still check this, if there are any. Tonight, Mary and I are off to Bismarck to stay in the Radisson. We are attending a writer's conference tomorrow all day. It should be a lot of fun. There will be an update later about the conference.
Otherwise, I have Friday off for my birthday day as I did not get to take my actual birthday off. So, I will have a nice three day weekend. It will be fun! Well, That's all for now.

Hi everyone, just a quick note. Not mcuh going on, but yesterday a woman was stuck in the elevator in my apartment building. The funny thing was that about 15 firemen showed up to get her out. Sad really. Anywhoodle... not much else going on because i am doing election stories and that takes up most of my time.  Well, now i must get back to work.

Woah, doesn't often happen that I blog twice in one day. I just got a news release that the rapist will not be released Monday. He will be held pending a civil commitment meeting. WEEEEE!!! Now I am happy and I will be able to continue walk.
